Our responsibility

Is to show that

They Don’t need just a peak at

What they need is a speak at

No wait, Better yet, a speak “with”

that’s the difference

So

let’s sit

And chit chat

That’s where it’s at

And

get to know the struggles

Of each student

Not just some

But everyone

everyday

Find a way

There’s a way

And if not

Then make a way

And when we do

Literacy success will come

And finally stay
